Multiple monitors usage?

I want to know if it is possible to append three monitors to a single PC.

Right now, I hold a single LCD montor attached to my PC. However I want to add two more.

I hold Win XP OS running and so I can span the desktop and stick in another monitor in consequence having two dsiplays.

But I be thinking about adding up another graphics card with dual ports and together near my single port graphics card and so I have three displays. Will this work?

I in fact want to clone my spanned desktop to the two new monitors. Could I do that too?

Answer:

If u r thinking of tallying a VGA card then 4get it....Only 1 card will work at a time....But righteous 4 u i m here...there r gadget available called VGA Multipliers....u can use these 2 make the addition of up 2 8 moniters using the same VGA card...Good luck.....
yes you can do this xp support up to 4 monintors. so if you considered necessary to have 2 cards that support 2 monitors respectively you could that.
It is possible, but your graphics card and software must support more then one display.
