my computer can't see red. what do i do?

the red freshly stopped working and is now black. i can't play word racer immediately. what could cause this?

firstly check your cable pins are not bent and where on earth they go into the workstation then check your graphics card is properly seated (take it out and re-insert it) check that it is working at hand are free progs for this, if all else fail attach a new or borrowed monitor to see if this is your problem. angelic luck.
