It be working fine until it moved house recently. When switched on the eyeshade stays black and a box appears in the middle of the peak with an information symbol aphorism "off mode".
All plugs and cables are connected properly.
Any give a hand would be appreciated.

It sounds like your video card get jarred loose, or is bad. Try reseating it, if that doesn't work, you may have need of a new one.
By the bearing, the computer itself comes on, right?
did you accadently knock the pc? unplug it and check to net sure your video card and memory are seated and that your power supply wasnt turned off
