You own the neednewcomputer virus.
check the cable connecting your monitor and pc.. If its tatty or something like that the problem may be due to that.. My monitor become greenish if my oc table moves even a little(in my case the rope is damged..) regarding the d drive within may be some fault if its to feeble..



I don't say it may not be due to some viruse or close to that..

BOTH cannot happen at like peas in a pod time !AS for ur CD rom you can use the emergency button a tiny hole below the CR tray use a pin to push contained by for emergency retrieval of ur CD stuck within the CD rom.Dont use your mitt manually to push the tray inside when CDROM opens this damages the piece of equipment .If you CDROM is old service it but since your trial to this i recommend you not to DIY !As for your monitor going red there is a tiny cable snap surrounded by ur VGA cable

you see inside the cable there is color combination of RGB(Red,Green,Blue)maybe nearby is a short circuit between the wire!This problem with the sole purpose gets worste !The best path out is resoldering the VGA cable with a modern DB-15 connector!
