My computer fell past its sell-by date my desk, and very soon the words on the eyeshade are a bit blurry. Can this be fixed?

Answer:

Try your computer beside a different monitor and see if this corrects the problem. If it is you are best to replace the monitor. The monitor is normally the problem next to blurry screens.

If it is not the monitor you should manufacture sure your video card is properly seated in its slot if it is not on the motherboard.

You can try a latest video card if the above don't work.
Your hard drive have been tatty, the same item happened to me.
Maybe u should get hold of a new blind and if that does not work try to get it checked by ur local computer store.
R.I.P.
Is this a desktop or a laptop? If it is a desktop, try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the monitor to the video card. If that does not support, try to re-seat the video card. It may be something loose. If the monitor fell, you should see a qualified technician. These are not something an amateur like us should screw next to. If it is a laptop, the could still be a loose connection somewhere, but that would be really rugged to trace.
