my computer does not generate the monitor and the monitor will not turn on? how do i progress this?

i own a virus infected computer and i have hooked up the computer to other monitors and the computer does not elicit the monitor to turn on. everything is put in its place. how can i achieve the monitor to turn on?

you have a discouraging video card, oth e onboard chip is bad most credible, if you have onboard video, try taking the knock against oud and reseatin git, if you havea video card, do the same, if you still own not video, start thinking about a corrupt bios, or a different motherboard
Check for a switch on the monitor...maybe monitor is defective
Make sure:

1. That the monitor power cable is connected to your power source and that the Power Switch is turned ON.

2. That the monitor cable is properly connected to your laptop.



Then TURN OFF both the pc and monitor.

Then TURN ON the Monitor FIRST.

Afterwards, TURN on the PC.

See what happen.

Try checking you video card and monitor by switching it to another computer that you think is working. Also check your power supply. Hope this will assist you identify what is causing the problem.
check if your video card is working proprely...it might be broken
take home certain adjectives monitor cables are connected correctly. bring in sure they aren't loose.
