Monitor speakers?

I lately got a brand topical compaq presario SR2170NX and when i play music or anything.. its hard to hear what its clich¨|. the speakers are built in.. and i dont know what to do in the order of the sound to variety it more clear..

make sure the volume is turned up on both the PC and monitor, check your volume settings and turn them adjectives up (icon of speaker in bottom left) Give that a try!
