my computer go insensible, near the monitor peak turning into a white "floodnight" and wouldn'tgo away.

restarting or shutting down didn';t get the floodlight go away. the just way is to unplug the system. how can the problem be remedied and is it worthwhile trying at adjectives? should i consider buying a new appliance? what brand if you think i should? (a friend said it could be a problem near the hardware.)

Answer:

When i had this problem it be because of the cord not being plugged adjectives the way into the monitor you might try checking your cords. If your set on buying a brand new computer though Dell is a good brand. Anyways hope this help.
Your friend is correct, the problem is your graphics card. The fan have probably stopped spinning or the card itself may be going bad. I don't consider you should consider buying a new domestic device but invest in a better graphics card they are a dime a dozen now and you can find some really cheap buys on ebay.
Have you tested the pc on another monitor, or the monitor on another PC? If you are getting a floodlight it sounds close to the monitor is working fine. It could be that the PC has accidently set itself to a resolution that the monitor can't fiddle with. Don't go scrap them just however
There may be problem on your motherboard (display adapter)

install your system with another motherboard
on your computers control panel be in motion to monitors and proprieties

My computer fell past its sell-by date my desk, and very soon the words on the eyeshade are a bit blurry. Can this be fixed?

Answer:

Try your computer beside a different monitor and see if this corrects the problem. If it is you are best to replace the monitor. The monitor is normally the problem next to blurry screens.

If it is not the monitor you should manufacture sure your video card is properly seated in its slot if it is not on the motherboard.

You can try a latest video card if the above don't work.
Your hard drive have been tatty, the same item happened to me.
Maybe u should get hold of a new blind and if that does not work try to get it checked by ur local computer store.
R.I.P.
Is this a desktop or a laptop? If it is a desktop, try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the monitor to the video card. If that does not support, try to re-seat the video card. It may be something loose. If the monitor fell, you should see a qualified technician. These are not something an amateur like us should screw next to. If it is a laptop, the could still be a loose connection somewhere, but that would be really rugged to trace.

My computer doesn't work, why?

It be working fine until it moved house recently. When switched on the eyeshade stays black and a box appears in the middle of the peak with an information symbol aphorism "off mode".

All plugs and cables are connected properly.

Any give a hand would be appreciated.

Answer:

It sounds like your video card get jarred loose, or is bad. Try reseating it, if that doesn't work, you may have need of a new one.

By the bearing, the computer itself comes on, right?
did you accadently knock the pc? unplug it and check to net sure your video card and memory are seated and that your power supply wasnt turned off

My computer display is upsidedown ...HELP... Roger?

My boss put his books on my grand piano then said "OOPS - I a moment ago screwed up your system" We've tried to resolve the problem but after 30 min. the picture is still upsidedown. I have an h/p compaq tower type system. There must be a baby grand 'shortcut' to do this. Would be a great joke to play on someone, but right immediately the JOKE IS ON ME. Thanks for the help.

Answer:

I do it by pressing CTRL, ALT and The Up key simultaneously. May work in your armour.
To fix this look on your monitor. There are either buttons or knob, keep pressing them till you come up near a menu. One of the menu's will have to do near orientation, and you can rotate the photo back to the mundane position. Chow
Just take your monitor and pick it up and turn it 180 deegrees, or merely mess with the control panel
