If it's a rollerball mouse, you may need to verbs the ball and rollers. You can use q-tips and rubbing alcohol. If it's an optical mouse, try shifting your mousepad or try not using one.

Describe the movement.
unplug it n then replug or uninstall n afterwards reinstall ur mouse
Change the mouse

If it's a "roll ball" clean the insides. This would be an dated mouse. Just replace it.

If it's an Optical, replace it.
