Its mostly happens when time have come to repair the mouse. Even i had matching problem and it was due to logical problem in it. Either buy a hot mouse or repair it. It will again start working the it was in the past
Is this happening on a laptop or a desktop system. If it is a laptop find an update driver for your touch wipe or find chipset updates for the motherboard of either laptop or desktop laptop.
Is the mouse wireless? If so, time to change the battery. Or maybe it's too far from it's platform.
You probably have a broken mouse. My mouse get old and started doing that. So, I finally get tired of it. I bought a new mouse. I regard that's what you should do.
I had like problem, then I realize that it was not the mouse but the mouse wipe. Some optical mouses don't respond well when the mouse wipe is a light color(such as white, ashen, and ETC)what you can do is get a threatening sheet of paper and try to see if responds better.
