My acer lcd computer eyeshade have developed a vertical splash which appears everlasting. Any planning?

The stripe does not move just stays put. Tried everything. Does this be a sign of the monitor is stuffed?

I've never heard of such a problem.

LCDs roughly show black/white dots that do not change color, or they are impossible pixels

May be you have a row made up of these dots.
try to open it and verbs the cable. may be it will happend by dust too.
this problem has also happen to me earlier. this is due to some loose cable connections.. adjust the wire nouns or take the system to computer service centre..
Its may problem with your Graphic card you may try to verbs you display cable, plug out it and phooooooooo phoooo three our four time and plug-in it then try.

oukay dude...if you check RunQA...ive asked a similar query...i too got a vertical dash on my acer screen...its in the order of two inches thick and its kinda white...but its translucent routine i can see the desktop behind...its within the middle of the screen...other answers suggested that it may be my video card....work near me dude!!
You could try fixing it yourself but its fiddly and tricky and not always successful,someone out in that loves this kind of provoke and will pay pretty righteous money to feed their techie culture ,therefore i would get rid of it on ebay and buy another !!!
