I own a desk top computer that was purchased in the region of 4 years ago. I've upgraded it as much as possible, adding both RAM and HD memory to the unit's size. Although slower and bulkier than the new computers, it's fine for what I do, except for one point. Lately, the picture on the monitor shakes and sometimes slips down, usually without any sort of juddering happening within the room. I think it want to be levelled somehow, because if i move the monitor (not the stub it's sitting on) back and forth or up and down, I can gain the picture to straighten up. I've tried moving the whole groundwork slightly, and checked all connections, but this keep happening. Sometimes I own to press down on the top of the monitor to settle the picture just so I can finish anything im working on. Any ideas on how I can for good level this monitor so the problem will stop? Thanks!
Answer:
There is not much you can do short of bringing it within to a Tv/monitor repair shop. Getting it fixed will cost more than the monitor is worth.
Monitors are not user serviceable, there is a severe threat of shocking yourself while working on a monitor even when it is unplugged.
Your best bet would be to go and buy a exotic LCD monitor. They are very cheap right very soon and you will not regret the decision.
Wow. This is a untried one.
First thing I would hold done was to hold contacted the manufacturer.
